I have the old style v4 and i need to upgrade the farings. Please can anybody help me.

You actually want 2020 or newer fairings if you want the wings or V4R look. What information are you wanting. There have been a few threads showing the change. You will need the bracket that replaces the tab that holds the side fairings. You will also need a new windscreen as the 18/19 screen won’t fit the larger nose.

If youre looking for painted fairings or just red fairings here is a link to motoxpricambi. I bought my painted 1299 fairings from them. They have the economy paint which doesnt match the factory red and has 2 clear coats. Or you can choose the elite which has 3 clear coats and matches the factory red. There are a 2 pages of paint schemes you can choose from. Or they also sell just the red color. The fairings are the same thickness as stock. And their kits come with every fairing piece that come with the original bike as well as every piece of black plastic that comes with the bike. I had a custom paint job done on my 1299 that wasnt on their site. So they charged me $47 for a computer rendering. Once I approved it it cost me $1380 shipped to NY. It took 4 weeks. I couldnt use my fairing stay with their front fairing. Instead I had to use the one that came with kit. Everything fit perfectly unlike other brands that you need to twist and massage. Ducati Panigale V4 - V4S 2020 - 2021 The fairings graphics arent all painted like the red or black or any other colors you choose. The graphics are stickers or vinyl wrap that they clear coat. But many of the graphics on my bike were painted since they were solid colors

Be aware that if you do order from them it will take a while. The first set I ordered from them at the end 0f 2018 took 3 months. Now the second set (according to their sit was to ship 6/17 if ordered by a certain date and it was) has been
1 1/2 months still has not shipped. As mentioned above the product is of nice quality and comes with fasteners but their service is not what you might consider expedient.

I can’t seem to find a faring set that is for stock muffler

Anybody has actual pictures of the set they bought
I have the plastic from motoxpricambi. That paint job is not on their website. I gave them a pic of what something close. And then explained how I wanted the front fairing painted and how I wanted those rear winglets painted on my rear tail section. I crashed my bike 9-11-2020. All my carbon fiber is Ilmberger with the exception of the rear outer tail sections which were full fix and my exhaust heat shield came with my Vandemon exhaust. As you can see the right outer full six tail section is scratched. I was going to order a right side full six one again. But then when I added it up at my dealer cost. Buying the left and right Ilmberger tail sections was only $95 more than buying just a right side full six. In the meantime I already mounted all the Motoxpricambi parts. I didnt use a lot of them because of the carbon fiber pieces on my bike. I did however needed to use their front fairing stay to mount their front fairing. When the Ilmberger parts came in I realized why Ilmberger didnt sell those rear carbon winglets. Its because Ilmberger makes a one piece rear tail section for the rear right and rear left while full six makes it a 4 piece like the OEM Ducati pieces if you dont use your rear seat. So I contacted motoxpricambi and told them I had 2 Ilmberger pieces and asked if they could paint the sections on the ilmberger carbon that were normally the winglets. They charged me $70 to paint it and $60 to ship it back to me. It cost me $60 to ship them the two Ilmberger pieces. If you guys look closely you will see that the inner part of my front fairing is also painted black. If you want a paint job not shown on their site you would pay them $47 for a computer rendering. I wrote my initial post that I paid them $47. I actually paid them $141 for 3 renderings. So if I wanted to order either 1 or 2 more sets they have my renderings on file.

@craig bush they told me that the fairings were the same thickness as stock. But that they were not OEM Ducati fairings. However since their supplier hasnt made any V2 fairings, if a customer wanted a set of painted V2 fairings. They would have to order the V2 fairings from a Ducati dealer and paint them with whatever graphic you wanted. But the cost would be much expensive because now they are actually using OEM Ducati fairings. Regarding fitment on the fairings I bought from them. They came with every piece of plastic that would come on a bike from the factory. Their plastic pieces fit perfectly. I didnt struggle with them like other guys have with plastic bought from ebay or other cheap plastic. I didnt have to twist or bend them in order to get them in place. The fairings come pre-drilled and the holes line up perfectly with the holes on the bike. There is one tiny gap which is my only gripe. If you look closely on the right side of the bike which I took a pic of. Right above that thick black stripe you will see a tiny gap between the front fairing and the upper side fairing. And the same tiny gap is on the left side. Im not sure if thats a issue with their fairings or its an issue with my bike. The reason I say that is because after removing my OEM fairings a few times some of the plastic where the fairings mounted to sort of got warped. So I had the same gap when I had the stock fairings on.

If someone wanted to order their race fairings. Those to not come pre-drilled for your bolts or fasteners. The fairings come marked where you would drill the holes. The fairings are also thinner than their street fairings. And fitment is not like the street bike fairings. You need to twist and bend a little. But even though you need to massage their race fairings to fit they still fit better than many other brands. I think it also has to do with how straight you drill the holes out.

They told me the “street” fairings are the Akra exhaust versions only, and the “track” fairings are available for both Akra and oem versions.
That doesnt really matter. If you are running an exhaust other than the Akra then you would just take the lower fairings from your stock set and mount them to their fairing set. But most likely if someone was ordering their fairings they would want those lower fairings painted. So you could do one of two things. If there would be mostly red on the upper side fairings you could send them your lower fairings to paint. Or if the upper fairings had a lot of black and some red you could do what some of my customers did. (just to be clear I am in no way affiliated with motoxpricambi. I am not a dealer of theirs. And even if I wanted to be they do not offer any types of dealer discounts. The only reason I talk about them is because of the work they did for me and others customers that I sent their way) They ordered the lower Ilmberger carbon fiber fairings from me. Since Ilmberger ships all orders to me for free before I ship them out to customers. They ship the carbon fiber parts to Motoxpricambi for free. Motoxpricambi then paints the carbon fiber pieces to match the paint job on the bike while still leaving most of the carbon showing.

@craig bush did you email back and forth with Gianluca? I'm actually surprised you were told that the 2020 Ducati V4 street fairings are for the Akra exhaust only. After I read that I went on their website and saw that the 2020 and newer street fairings all said the fairings were for the Akra exhaust. Yet on the 2018-19 fairings it said nothing about those being for Akra exhausts only. After I saw that I went to DucatiOmaha and looked up the 2019 and 2020 lower fairing part #'s. The 2019 right lower fairing part # ended with 61BA and the 2020 right lower fairing part # ended with 62BA. I dont think Ducati would change the molding for their lower fairings even if they updated their upper fairings a bit. That's not cost effective for them or any car or motorcycle manufacturer. These companies try and use parts for as long as possible in order to keep their costs down. But they would change the lower fairing part # for the 2020-21 models just so people know what to look up for their bike year. For example Ducati never designed new lower fairings for the V2. The 1299 lower fairings fit the V2. I sold one guy with a V2 Full Six carbon lower fairings that fit the 1299 and another guy ordered Ilmberger carbon lower 1299 fairings for his V2.

After I looked up the part #'s on DucatiOmaha and saw the lower fairings were off by one # I went on Ilmbergers site and Oppracings site to see the full six carbon. Ilmbergers lower fairings had the same part #s for 2018-21 V4's and Oppracing which sells Full Six showed the same part #'s for the V4 lower fairing that fit 2018-21 models. I would assume that Motoxpricambi doesnt realize that the lower fairings for the 2018-19 also fit the 2020-21 models because they may have looked up those part #'s on a microfiche and saw they were different. Then decided to only order the Akra lower fairings for 2020-21 models. Im sure if you were interested in their fairing kit and explained that the 2019 lower fairings will fit a 2020 V4 they would sell you the 2020 fairing kit with the other lower fairings they advertise for the 2018-19 models. They may tell you that you have to take responsibility if they dont fit and they are not liable should you have to send them your lower fairings to paint. But that wont happen because those 2019 lower fairings will fit.

Thats interesting because when I first got in touch with them. I asked whether the street fairing they sold were oem and if not were they the same thickness as the oem fairings. Gianluca replied back saying the thickness was the same and that they use a manufacturer that makes them exactly to oem spec. If they had to buy OEM fairings the price would be much higher. Before they added the V2 street fairing to their site a guy from the forum contacted Motoxpricambi after I gave him their info. After contacting them he was told a V2 paint job would cost a lot because the manufacturer they use didnt come out with V2 fairings and they had to buy oem V2 fairings. So he asked about race fairings. And was told the same thing, they would have to buy oem V2 race fairings. Im assuming the manufacturer they use came out with V2 street fairings because they have them listed $1452.04 plus shipping. Granted I have a 1299. My front fairing retails for around $975. My left and right upper fairing list for $577 each and my lower right and left lower fairings list for $477 each. That's $3083 and doesn't include the 4 piece rear tail section, the seat cowl, the rear undertray, right and left cam covers, rear tail hugger, front fender, front plastic piece that goes under to allow the front fairing to mount, chain guard , right and left air tube covers, key ignition cover, and this one plastic piece which Im not even sure what to call it. But it goes in front of both air tube covers and has these circles on the right and left side that sort of flip down if you press on them. If you add all that up the cost will be way over $3,083.00. And yet I wound up getting everything I listed above in my kit, painted and shipped for $1380.00. They gave me a $75 discount because I paid them using transferwise.com since it works like a wire transfer only the sender gets charged a small fee which is less than a regular wire transfer. And motoxpricambi didnt get charged an incoming wire fee, a credit card fee or a paypal fee since I paid with transferwise now known as wise.com.

The only parts I used that came in their kit were their front fairing, their plastic piece up front to mount their front fairing because mine didnt fit with their front fairing (if they used OEM stuff I wouldnt need to have used their plastic piece to mount their front fairing) upper and lower right and left fairings, and the winglets which I wound up removing because of the Ilmberger rear carbon pieces. If they sold actual painted OEM fairings from Ducati can you imagine how much they would charge for these kits. Even if they didnt include most of the black plastic parts the end user cost would be crazy expensive. Their V4 painted kits dont come with all the parts that their 1299 kits come with. Im sure the OEM V4 front fairing, left and right upper and lower fairings, rear top and bottom tail section from Ducati cost more than what Motoxpricambi sell their V4 parts painted and shipped for. They are selling their painted V4 fairing between $1841.29-$2254.30 + shipping. I think OEM parts would cost more than that. Then again who knows maybe they set up a deal with their local Ducati dealership and get the fairings for next to nothing
