Just thought I'd post my mod. Couldn't figure out where and what kind of signals to mount as I really didn't like the look of the NRC ones. So i decided to give this a go. Very happy with the result, didn't have to drill anything and they are twice as bright as the led mirror signals. These are the sport classic short style.

I'll try and post up a video.

One side done, will get the other side tomorrow.

Update: video - ...... quality cuz it's small and on iPhone but you can definitely see them in daylight.

awesome. I used Watsen Design on my BMW and despite their compact size, they are incredibly bright.

I just ordered two pairs for my wife's Monster during his last order period; on my bikes I'm happy with the mirror LEDs.

I just ordered a set during the last order period for my 1199. Have them on my S1000rr & everyone is always impressed at how bright they are.
Happy to see someone else here use his product.
 
Do you maybe have a link to where these can be purchased? Great looking solution to the antler mirrors.
 
Did you mount those in the vent openings that direct air beneath the fairing to cool your electronics?
 
Looks good hidden in there however I imagine they cannot be seen much if at all from the side of the bike and therefore are a little less safe.. Personally I like my mirrors on the street. Riding on the freeway in Austin you NEED rear view mirrors.. :cool:

yea i would like to see a picture or video if you could please.
especially from the side

i also am concerned that blocking that vent (to some degree) would hurt the electronics its meant to cool

otherwise it looks amazing

The blocking of the vent was a big concern of mine as well, but that I thought about how many people get stuck in traffic where I barely ride in it. And the temperatures here in Canada don't get past 25 c usually. Also there is room there for plenty of airflow to get in.

i wonder if i take off my mirrors will i be pulled over?
i know SC state law says i have to have one, but really who cares! i cant see crap out of them as is

i ran a while without mirrors. no cop ever cared.

(full gear and helmet prove a better point here)
 
I use the M-Blaze Discs since they are visible front and back. But that is a nice set-up all the same. Probably an easier install then mine as well.

Video is up, ...... quality. But you can definitely see it from the side even.
