Watched the World Ducati Week Race of Champions on You Tube, pretty entertaining, It's 99% Italian narrated but still worth a watch, the V4 Panigale S are very impressive, I pity the folks that buy them at auction though, they all got their necks wrung.

I believe that everyone was run in by the book :D

To bad there was no Stoner... great way to get a nice deal on the bikes who racers are less than popular.

I am not surprised that Bayliss's bike is popular, but am shocked that it's already bid so much higher than the rest. That's a crazy premium over the others.

I was sort of hoping the rumours were true about the first previews of the V4R were going to be true.
TB21 did mention that he and a few others were getting a private look at during WDW.

the TB 1098 still commands very good prices here.

But then again, this is a a one off bike, would be nice to hang on the bar room wall.

Troys bike is at E122050.. that $142,581.. for a dressed up V4S?

Its not a championship winning bike, he didn't even win the race.

WTF???

Yeah, it's crazy. It's literally just a V4S with a TB paint job and an etched triple clamp.

No racing heritage, and as you say he didn't even win the "race." In fact, his is the only one that's been in the gravel!!

The bike is worthless to anyone other than these dummies spending a Ferrari's worth of money on it.

Just imagine if they would have put Foggy and Stoner aboard too, they would cover the expenses for the whole show.
It's a testament to the marque, the turnout and enthusiasm for WDW.

Troy is very popular in Europe and Australian so probably collectors that have a few Bayliss bikes already. Myself I'd be more keen to get hold of that 1299fe he's racing in the Australian Superbikes at the moment.

I have been seeing a lot of vids and coverage of WDW and to me it looks like a happy clappers weekend but with bikes .
I don't get it .

Agreed . Ducati are the best at marketing and idiots just buy into it .

He has 2.5 of them.....which will be up for grabs once he gets his V4R
