Some of the thinking here is missing the point- of 100 members here most are under 60 since performance motorcycling is a younger mans game yes? Then we are not a representative sample of the population but for arguments sake say we are; 1 of those member who contract covid will die statistically, 99 will survive and lets face it the dead guy aint posting! So the bias here will be overwhelmingly in the camp that covid is a nothing burger. I would expect that for most its a flu- but we already know this!

The controls are for those who will die, the immune compromised, the elderly, the underlying comorbidity- not the 99% of healthy people. There is no conspiracy, your freedums are not being stolen....

The best thing about this whole covid mess has been the awareness of how flu's/colds spread. Now here at least people stay at home when sick, wear masks if they are coughing- this is not about them but for others.

Just did. 118 miles of epic mountain road. Unfortunately, all that road was blanketed with smoke from the government’s inability to fight fires. We have 4 billion to spend on a new aircraft carrier but no money to upgrade forest fire suppression. We have thousands of mothballed aircraft that could be retrofitted sitting in Mojave and Tucson but no. It’s best they just sit there. We might have a priority problem.

Apparently the solution is to get felons on a dollar a day to put fires out.
