Only ran wets on my old R6 , so question for the braintrust who race .
I am currently running Dunlop NTEK 195 60 17 slicks , the long range forecast down here in Oz is for a wet spring and summer .
I want to load up my spare rims with wets .Size what would I get away with ?
Is 190 55 wide and tall enough enough , lots available in that size or should I stick with the exact same profile and width .
Thanks.

Ran that size rear a few weekends ago, no issues other than a drying track! The front gets....interesting...when not cool enough.

Same as Kev - I have been able to run them in full wet track, they are pretty amazing i have to say

Thanks for the response , my only concern was the lower profile rear would throw the geo out a little and make the front feel like it is pushing.

Oh....the front will push! Pretty good exercise in keeping calm while your clip-ons fold : )

1/2 kidding, that was my front once overheated on a drying track. Only used slicks for the last 3y so it was kind of novel to experience a front end that felt it wanted to fold but could still return to normal with a nice relaxed reaction. I am the only idiot in the paddock doing a rain dance to use these tires.
