Did Termignoni made diferentes variants of the 70mm full system ? Does anyone know what system I have on my 899? It doesn’t have an attachment for the carbon fiber shield on the rear header

I know this system was previously installed on a Panigale 1199R

They made one that is more like a T than a Y where the two pipes merge right before the cans

And the super stock rear header is longer than the one in the pic. More like a U than a C

Post some pix

I meant from the side as to see what the pipe looks like where the bracket is posed to be. Someone was into polishing their exhaust. Maybe they ditched the shield and ground it off?

Yes they did polished it at one point
Maybe one of them removed it since it had an akrapovic carbon heat shield, not the Termignoni one
I know the two previous owners, I guess I’ll just ask them. Cant tell if it was removed since it was polished by previous owner

I'm learning there was also major variation in the full SBK versions for the front pipe. The one I have I think was an early version where it did a U before going straight down and I'm having clearance issues with the stock fan. Have either of you also had this issue with the full Termi on the 1199?

You have the WSBK version and your front fan gets deleted.

the retail 1199 full termi system fits just fine, I even cut the carbon fibre heat shield to fit the rear pegs.

Thanks, I didn't realize till after but correct, I have the WSBK and it does not work with the front fan...

On the rear pipe it also looks like different heat shields were used. The retail version looks like it has an inner metal part and then the carbon fiber over it where the WSBK is one piece carbon fiber with heat shield backing /padding directly on the inside.

You might be able to clearance the duct and still run the oem fan

I’ve seen others do it when installing termi super stock headers

I never have tried this but wsbk and ss front tube look the same to me : )

I ran into the same issue with my Akro WSBK system. I ended up removing the OEM fan/ shroud and running a smaller Spal fan a bit lower on the bottom radiator and another smaller Spal fan in the upper left corner of the top radiator. It was pretty easy to do. Full disclosure though I'm running the H2O radiator set up so it cools really well almost too well.

I am going to try to modify the stock fan to work and if it doesn't then remove it and see if any heating issues at all (it's primarily a track bike with some street practice...). Does anyone know if there are performances differences between the two SS and WSBK versions?

I've searched online and can find plenty of information on the retail one but not on the WSBK one so curious other then the shape of the front header if there are any other differences?

I have a spare new SPAL fan I bought for my 1199 if interested. Exact diameter as the stock fan in the OEM shroud. (around 5”)

I was going to mount it directly to my lower radiator but decided not to, and kept the stock shroud. PM if interested. I’ll include the mount kit for free.

Here is what mine looks like before installing - can you confirm this is the "WSBK" version? Also were those only available for aftermarket purchase or did they come on any versions, can find much about this version anywhere online...?
