So I installed my mwr air filter today and went for a ride to grab something to eat/test everything out, went and ate, was on the way back and the engine dies like it ran out of gas and then I notice smoke... Turn off the bike and there's a giant puddle of gas under the bike... Every time I even turn the bike on it pours gas out... Any ideas?

Maybe something else in the fuel system came loose or the fuel quick disconnect is cracked. Sorry for your woes. Leaking gas means bike is grounded until figured. I would not risk it with the hot Panigale

First off DO NOT start or ride your bike until you fix this!!!!!!!!!

It's most likely (like others have said) that you did not push the fuel line quick connect in far enough. It happened to me I thought I pushed it in and it seemed in. Went for a ride about 8 miles and the bike died and ran out of fuel. Some gas poured out of the bottom of the bike. I tried to start it since I didn't know what was happening and POOOOOOOF.......smoke and fire.....

Flash fire ignited the fuel vapors from spraying gas under the gas tank. Thankfully it was a quick flash and did not damage the bike or the wiring....the mwr filter was toast though!!!!!! Ruined!!!!!!

So you need to take off your gas tank ......dry out that airbox completely....make sure the fuel line quick connect is snapped in until it clicks tight!!!!! And if you had a lot of gas free flowing in the area I would recommend changing your oil incase any of that got into the engine oil.

Don't take this lightly....I was lucky I didn't burn my bike to the ground. Luckily it's totally fine now and good as new, but I still need a new MWR now

Sorry saw you already figured it out...but thought I would leave my last post for anyone else messing with the fuel tank for any reason....it's easy to think the fuel line is connected when it's not on this bike.
