What is this washer from the rear subframe?

While doing the heatshield mod this washer fell off and now I can't figure out where it belongs to. I don't know if there is another that is stuck in the exhaust.

Clearly I didn't read the warning that the instructions came with. But I don't think that tank clamp nuts had or need washers on the 1299. Maybe 1199 has them.

This washer is used several places, one of which is for the steering wheel damper nut. Check the website bikepartsducati or something, there you can see extruded part shemes

It’s the under side of the heat shield I believe. I’ll look for the diagram

My bad I don’t know how to edit post... not #43 but they are for that area, possibly for the bolts toward front of heat shield

No problem. I forget the exact spot but I know it goes in there somewhere because I had the exact problem when I changed my heat shield

Did you have the side fairing panels off? There is one of those on each side right at the front. The long thin securing bolts from under the headlight goes through them. They usually stay in place as you take the panel off, then randomly fall out later when you knock the bike as you work on it.

Good point. I will look as I couldn't find any screw to match these while working on the rear subframe.

Correct bolt, but the spacer goes between the red and the black panels. You cannot see it when the bike is assembled.
