found a vendor here close by [Fast Frank Racing], he offers various racing parts for all kinds of bikes, a lot for italian ones, all designed and fabricated by himself...

i find the quick change kits quite impressive:

Ducati 1199 Panigale

cheers,

Phl

Fast Frank is a good friend of mine but he didn't design the 1199 Quick change kit for the 1199, they are designed and manufactured by Richard Boyd at Desmo Veloce. I highly recommend purchasing from either vendor! The QC system reduces wheel change time by 60%. If you are required to safety wire your caliper bolts even more time is saved as the calipers stay on and swing out of the way. FYI you will need to machine off the factory fender mounts from you fork bottoms and dismantle the upper and lower leg to install the new fender mounts. I suggest sending your forks to either FF or DS and have them perform the upgrade. Both will service the forks and replace the fluid as part of the process. Once you have a QC from end you will never go back!!!

Lol no plans yet...

This season: first results on the SV
NEXT: sponsors
Then endurance
Then 1199

It's actually kind of fun. WERA ran a mini-endurance series once in 2000 (or maybe 1999) and 3 of us raced my 750ss Duc in it. 4 race weekends/ 2 hour race length. Got a few podiums.
Tried to get the others to commit to a full endurance effort the next year but they didn't have much interest (and I offered to buy the bikes - 2 new SV650s).

You should try it. Different than the usual 4/6 lap sprints.

i've already discussed it with a guy from around here, he'd be in too.

he currently runs an FZR400 in F2 and a cbr250

let's look into that. do you still hold your wera license?

No. Held Expert Lic until about 2003(4?) but let it all lapse. They have a proceedure for reactivating. 'Prolly just a day at WERA race school (just so they know I'm not senile) and they'd give it back to me assuming I don't run over a corner worker, lol.
But yeah, I might be interested.
