I have been looking at the install instructions for the Termi full and slip on exhausts and no where do they indicate where the catalytic converters are. Both the slip on and full exhaust do away with the exhasut valve engine and both get a map up program (not sure if they are the same).

It really is not clear what the difference is between the full exhaust and the slip on other than 2kg, which leads me to believe the weight savings is just in the materials.

No where in the install intructions can you tell where the converters are other than assume they are somehow in the stock silencers and does that mean they could potentially be in the Termi silencers:confused:

I wish it was a bit clearer when they want @$2,000 just for the manifold. I am getting the Tricolore so I already get the slip ons and Map Up.

as far as i've understood, there 's no cat. the emissions will be achieved by addition of fresh air into the combusted gas after leaving the cylinder... i don't know if thats done in or before the manifold

EDIT: thought i deleted my comment on the mobile page yesterday ... there is the cat in the standard cans, right, sorry my fault.

Hmmm - all of the sales and specs talk about catalytic converters:confused:

I think there is a small fee for the app - not a big deal compared to the upcoming expense :D

Not to hijack the thread, but does anyone know what the app is called? I cant find it.

no app just surfing on the droid... crap!

Sorry, your correct I was on a different 1199 forum when the mobile app option came up. Usually if your on a phone and hit the site it will give you an option to dowload the app.
