You guys are absolutely right; it's a Honda.. Somebody is challenging me; what do you guys think? (1299 Panigale S VS Honda CBR 1000RR)

I never drove or competed with a CBR but since I'am the only Panigale down here I have to meet all kind of challenges lately. (mostly Haya's and they are fast, but not fast enough..)

Its 6am in the morning here and I am not a morning person, BUT I still do not get the point of your post.

I had Repsol Blade. Absolutely does everyting in a way it is engineered to do. The most boring bike I've ever owned. Still love Repsol colors though.

Brad.. If it is 6 in the morning; what in the world ar you doing reading posts at the forum??

The bottom line is; is a CBR any competition or should we just laugh at it?

i always go though the forum when i wake up and have my quiet time...

i bet there are worse addicts on here.

I don't think the CBR has wheelie control and quick shifter. From a 20mph rolling start, i think the 1299 definitely has the advantage on a quarter mile with the electronics assistance.

The Ducati wins in the beauty (cosmetics) department, IMO , but having owned a blade when it was still a 929cc I suspect it could be more reliable than a 1299.
I have no experience yet with Ducati, but have read about older ones giving electrical problems, my 1299 only has 1100 km on it so can't compare, but I see some issues here on the forum tech side, I have seen blades with 170000km and still going, I have met owners with older 916 (I think) Ducati's and newer 1098's and when they have 5000 trouble free Km's the are extatic

Just saying
