So I have my bike all a part doing some winter mods for next year.

Wanted to ask what else I should do while the bike is apart, bike is a 2014 1199s with 27xx miles.

What I'm doing or have done

Wetter water
throttle spacers
pazzo levers
brake and clutch tanks
CNC clutch master cylinder
GP shift
new tires
oil change
after market wheels
wind screen

I plan to ceramic coat the exhaust, I'm so sick of my legs and balls cooking. Do they make a good aftermarket heat shield for the exhaust. I saw a lot of posts in my searching but nothing after like July 2014 and the threads stop. I know I don't want to wrap the exhaust but I am going to do the ceramic then use the heat tape under the seat and tail and stuff.

Anything else I should do?

thanks for any ideas or help.

Then you do not get stuck in traffic on a hot summer day.

Exhaust can be managed, only a bigger radiator can keep engine heat in tolerable specs.

Again the engine heat ain't the big deal to me, its the exhaust that cooks me.

I love the way my Ducati cooks my balls and gives me 3rd degree burns on the inside of my right leg It gives the bike character don't you think It kind of turns me on in a weird sort of way.
