Okay, I'm updating this on 8/2/13. The bike needs to find a new home. I need the money to find myself a place to live. My father dipped out on my mom and I a month ago and with this thing and a car payment, insurances, and a future rent payment I know things will just be too tight.
$25 is a firm price. I won't entertain a dollar less. Please DO NOT ask.

White 2013 1199S W/Goodies in New Jersey
Bought from the ever-fabulous Cross Country Ducati in Metuchen, New Jersey. I'll even throw in one of their business cards for FREE!!!
600 Mile service performed at 650 miles.
Oil Just changed @ 3500 miles.
New rear tire installed around 2,000 miles due to a ....... nail

The good:

2013, White (Primer) , S, 4,600 approx miles (as of 8/1/13), great shape. Chain lubed after every ride, ALSO, (HOLD YOURSELF BACK!) a BRAND NEW SEALED container of blue Loctite 242 is included! ($6.47+Tax Value)!

Oh, and if you're not interested in buying then no need to chime in, thanks!
If you're sitting there saying wait.... "I can buy the SAME bike new for the same price" Then please do me and you a favor, BUY NEW!

When I bought the bike I purchased Tire and Wheel Insurance, I'm not sure if its transferable, but it may be.
Bike has a battery tender, and Gerbings heated clothing line hooked up to it.

Heres some of the goodies included that are installed on the bike:

1. DP Levers $460
2. DP Rearsets $1300
3. Lux Machine LED Indicator Blockoffs $200
4. CRG Arrow mirrors w/mounts $270
5. FenderWerkes std. Fender Eliminator $200
6. Rizoma Frame hole cap $150
7. DP Tall tinted Windscreen $200
8. DP Matte Carbon Clutch Cover $225

Goodies: $3,005 bought and installed. So I'm going to do some math on what this would ACTUALLY cost you to buy it new.
$24K Bike
$1,000 ........ F+S
$200 Doc
$400 Wheel Insurance
3,005 Goodies
$28,605
$30,607.00 Out the door for the bike.
Also has the DP tank protector, forgot to add that.

$25,000 takes it. Say you go to DMV and report you paid "7500" (Because I'm sure NONE of us do that, get real) Thats $500 in tax.
Still over $5,000 less than what it would cost you similarly equipped.

Aero kit, passenger seat, passenger pegs, second key and manual are included as well. Ran strictly on Sunoco 93. Hasn't had stalling or starting issues.

The bad:
Theres a tiny scratch on the dash. Thats it. Bike doesn't have the smoking or starting issues some 1199's have.

Bike is located in zip code 07755 and has a $7500 Lien at my local Credit Union so you don't get the title until all funds have been deposited and cleared. Or you can bring the payoff amount in cash and they'll give you the title then.

PM if you've got funds and an itch to own a White 1199S. Ignore comments about the bike being white. The Pearl White 848 has sold like hot cakes, can't make everyone happy.

Very sorry to hear this from one of the good members here! Two comments -

I love your perspective and comments.

I wish you best of luck with the sale and will spread the word on it to all I know seeking a well maintained bike my friend. Cant say I disagree with you at all on some of the unfortunate letdowns we all sacrifice as Ducati owners. GLWS buddy!

Just because you asked people not to comment in this thread, I'm going to comment.

What the .....

I can't believe you're selling your bike that's practically brand new. Too much sand in your ....... Then again at that price and colour, this bike isn't going anywhere :D .

Nobody likes a quitter.

Sorry to see your selling due to a bolt coming out and shifter falling off...GLWS you have some nice goodies with it. Just out of curiosity is that what you paid for the parts installed? Cause if it was just the parts then you overpaid.

You should remove the goodies..make it stock and list the add ons separately...you will find this works much better....

Didn't you advise caution on another for sale thread? Good luck with the sale, but that's a bit hypocritical given all the threats in your own ad.

Guys I dont believe he will be parting this out at all, but will let him explain that one.
We all know he put alot into this bike and it's a true gem thats all hooked up. Definitely a great grab for the price considering the mods, but as stated I dont think he has a chance to go that route.

Nope. Thats the parts + install. I paid msrp at my dealer, or some stuff from other vendors, then had it all installed.

Frosty- I was waiting for you. I'm actually surprised Gunny beat you to it. If the bike goes nowhere (at that color, yeah-yeah) thats fine. It's possible once I finally get my bike back my mind may change. Its not the bolt issue itself, its everything, combined with not having the bike for THREE weeks now because OF A bolt.

Edit: after looking at your photo I may reconsider. Funny ..... I'll be honest you piss me off a good amount of the time but do have a good sense of humor.

Oem rearsets and levers gone, and I'll never reinstall those fugly antler mirrors. That'd be a sin. This is all about my lack of time with the bike. I don't care to get too into detail until I get the bike back, I'm just not happy I'll be approaching the beginning of week 4 without the bike in a few days.
I'm an impatient turd, and honestly sat staring at the thread for 15 minutes before hitting submit, so my mind isn't 100% firm on getting it gone.

I do agree with you 100% though stw, thats always the ideal situation, and gets you back the most $$

Well, clearly he's not capable of bolting on anything himself.

Hey! You mean my dealer isn't capable of bolting things on properly. But that argument is for another thread which I'll reply to once (as promised) I get my bike back.

If anyone out there needs loctite, hit up Home Depot's paint aisle- $6.50+tax and can save you three weeks of a bike in the shop.

This all could have been solved by purchasing the correct colour in the first place :D .

Did you pick out a new colour at Home Depot?
