i hear alot of red owners having issue

so far white dont scratch paint, smoke, or leak

must be a white thing :p

Very few white 1199's here in So Cal. I have the only one dealers in San Diego have said. Have no had any paint issues at all. Smoked a little till 400 miles and ocassionally will smoke but only at 600 miles. Both colors look gret but just had a red bike and the white just looks cleaner to me.

You can discuss all the advantages of the white one when you meet at the Blue Oyster Bar :D

My 13 white just arrived today !!!!!!! Super excited awaiting its maiden ride!!!!! My wife and daughter love it in white!!!! Unfortunately missed Carlos Checa by a few weeks when he popped in to our local Ducati dealership in Christchurch, signed a few caps, shirts and a tank on a new 1199s in red, so cant really swap a red tank to a white bike as it might not look the best.

Nice and congrats.

Carlos Checa only signs the fastest Ducati which is RED. :D

But the white ones are slower. Everyone knows that the red ones make more power.
