Curious how many members drive a diesel (of any sort) and what the normal prices for diesel fuel are in your area?

-Tell what you drive and how many MPG you generally get off it.

-Post a pic if you have one and maybe even put the Ducati next to it!

Anyone with big lifted diesel trucks are HIGHLY encouraged to post pics! :eek: ***Actually those with trucks should also read my previous thread with some great connections for wheels, tires, and anything diesel.

Just did a WICKED detail job on my Dodge starting with clay bar and all the way to two coats of wax applied with new Porter Cable 7424 Hand Polisher! Hell, may as well post what wax and detail gear you use and love while you are at it too! :)
This things is smoother than a baby's .... Pics to follow soon! :D
 
My wife and I just upgraded from our 08' VW Rabbit 2.5 2 dr to a Audi Q5 3.0l v6 TDI. Only had it under a week so still getting used to it.

They say:
City - 24
highway - 31
combined - 27

But i'm hearing most average 28-30 in the real world. Also, this thing has 428 lb's of torque! Not bad.

When the pani comes back from Ducati... I'll get a pic of it with the new rig.

I have the BMW X5 3.5D, and fuel here is $3.59. I can get 28 mpg @ 80 mph. I have been very happy with it, and added a chip that ups the performance a bit.

The thing they don't tell you, around every 10,000 miles you have to refill the diesel additive, Adblue, or the car won't start. The dealer charges over $100 for this, but you can get the fluid for about $36. This of course increases the cost per mile, plus diesel is more than gas to begin with.

2009 Ram 2500 with the 6.7 Cummins and all the Blutec removed.
2013 Jetta TDI.

Diesel runs about 3.95 to 4.15

Thinking about making the plunge and getting a diesel for hauling and longer range. Gunny I was eyeballing that Dodge diesel set up.

I have a 2012 Mercedes Sprinter with a wheelchair lift for my daughter in the back. I get about 12mpg around town and 18-19 on the highway.

I've got a 2011 Silverado with the Duramax.
When I filled up today in Ontario diesel was $129.9 per litre. $4.92 per US gallon in Canadian funds. Regular gasoline was $134.9 per litre or $5.11 per US gallon
 
X5 diesel here... 26-28 mpg on the highway, 19-22 around town depending if I am driving or my wife :)
