From that list I think it's got to be Bradl. He's young and he's shown lots of speed. Rossi and Crutchlow aren't going anywhere and Dovi already had his shot on the Repsol team. Can't see them bringing him back. However, on my wish list I would love to see Nicky back on the Repsol Honda. I think he would be far more successful on the Honda.

Why isn't Crutchlow going anywhere? He could be squeezed out of Tech 3. And has shown some real potential this year...

If anything Crutchlow would go to the factory Yamaha team to replace Spies as he hasn't had a good 2012 season thus far and his 2011 season wasn't anything to write home about. Not saying it's not possible, it's just Crutchlow to factory Yamaha and Bradl to factory Honda makes more sense to me. That could leave Spies a) without a GP ride or b) back to Tech-3.

I hope Honda signs Rossi.

In another year I could then see Marquez replacing him (2014).

Ducati would have to let Rossi out of his contract. Italy's favorite son leaving Ducati.... not likely. lol He would retire first.

Bradley Smith will be on a Tech 3 next year although he's not doing to much at the mo. Rossi obvious choice to go back on the Honda but he did leave on bad terms? Marquez would be a good choice (better than Bradl IMHO) but falls foul on the rookie on a factory bike rule. Can't see Hayden being signed by Honda again.
Give mad Hopper another crack  or better still get Josh Hayes in for a couple of seasons:eek:
PS Cal Crutchlow will be world champ next year - you heard it here first!!

No way! Lorenzo dominates this series until Rossi can figure out his GP12 or he moves back to Honda. Both highly unlikely.

This is the beginning of the Brit domination of both GP and WSBK!! Rea, Haslam, Sykes and not forgetting my fellow countryman Chas Davies!!! Come on!!!

Yep you do have a point there, Spies is having a bad one this year. But I'm not sure Yamaha would just drop him like that? I think Cal would be more suited to a factory Yamaha, and I don't think Rossi would leave Ducati till he's sorted the problems, else he would feel defeated!

Cal winning championship next year....? Struth imagine... Would be nice, as for the comment of Lorenzo dominating, I think you will find he won't be, especially next year... I think he honestly believes Cal will be a massive threat....

That was last year, referring to the current season. Doubt Rossi will leave Ducati before taken at least a few race wins in the dry, as this would be considered "unfinished business" and touted as "throwing in the towel". Not in fitting with Rossi's character.

Lorenzo has signed with Yamaha for 2013 and 14 - that's one out of the mix.

As for Crutchlow, he is in with a chance for a Factory ride, though most would argue that he and Dovi ARE on Factory bikes this year. At the start of the season, the Tech 3 bikes were the same as the factory boy's. As the season progresses, Yamaha will continue to through mods at the factory bikes that will take some time to filter down to Cal and Dovi. However, with the 12' Yam being such a solid package out of the crate, little is needed for Tech 3 to continue with their good form.

Though he has struggled thus far this year, if he can finish the season strong, Spies can retain a factory ride but with who? Honda or Yamaha?

Though he is on nearly a Factory bike this year, except for the Showa suspension, I would think Bautista is the most logical choice for the Repsol ride and maybe Bradl to take his Gresini ride.

Will there even be a "Repsol Honda" Team??? I have no doubt there will be a Honda team but Repsol just lost over US $ 10 Billion when Argentina nationalised YPF! Are they going to have money to sponsor??

I think Rossi will stay at Ducati , there is a great article outlining his options here.

However if he does go , blame Ben Spies, LOL

Hayden might be an option for Honda though, he has a long history with them, incl his World Championship in 06. which would free up the 2nd spot at Ducati.

Sadly Lorenzo is confirmed 2 more years at Yamaha but.......Maybe Audi/VW will free up some of those marketing dollars and we can have ????

Cal Crutchlow:

I don't mind who rides at Honda as long as Ducati starts winning, hopefully with Rossi, but even without him, and Ducati needs a good new star who can take over when Rossi retires in 2 years ;-)

Carmelo Ezpeleta (Dorna Boss) stated to be willing to loosen the Rookei Rule, what would enable Marquez to go directly to HRC

Denial. Now that makes me wonder

Me too. Nothing would kill team spirit like announcing a departure this early in the year. Rossi is a true professional and still the headliner at any race and a fan favorite.

The question is, what does Rossi want more? To maybe win at Ducati and be a hero or get another Championship and close the gap on the record... and still be a hero? I guess we will have to wait for the end of the season as patiently as we have waited for our 1199's.

Ok, so here is an out of your mind thought. I think that MotoGP is so messd up right now that I could really care less about it. I want to see Ducati do well, like most of us, but it is not going to happen this year. I want to see Stoner take the series, mainly because I hate Yamaha and Lorenzo and would like to see him leave on top. He may or may not be a flake depending on your perspective but he did bring Ducati a championship and can ride like the wind.

Now for the outrageous. Rossi kicks MotoGP in the nuts and goes WSB for one year on the '13 Panigale and cleans everyone's clock!
