I have not started a thread in a while. I thought this would be a fun one.

In the year 2019 Honda, Yamaha and I believe Ducati factory will each have one vacant seat available.

Who do you think will take each seat.

I'll start.

Honda: Miller
Yamaha: Zarco
Ducati: Petrucci/Batista

Who knows....my predictions may be unlikely but I think:

Marc will win the title this year and next and then go to Ducati.

Pedro will retire and Miller and one other will take his seat. Maybe Crashlow? They would be a fun team.

Zarco to Yamaha to replace Rossi

In my opinion, Miller will never get a factory seat. Somehow he got a Honda deal for 3 years (of which he is in his second year), he'll either get dropped or remain in the privateer category.

Despite his current track record I believe Honda will be looking for the "dream team" of both Marques brothers.

Interesting thread to revisit.

I don't think Rossi will go anywhere unless he retires, but Zarco will likely take that seat.

Pedrosa I think will stay.

Ducati might sign Miller.

Rins is going to get let go from Suzuki, and they are coming to Zarco hat in hand, check book open asking him to please ride our bike. Peco is being hand groomed by Valentino to take his place at Yamaha, and everyone is looking at Morbidelli.
DORNA is getting ready to die from it's own success, GP racing has become an all Spanish affair, not everyone likes that.

Honda - Morbidelli if he isnt on a motogp bike by then
Yamaha-Zarco
Ducati - Chaz Davies

Zarco, if he stays healthy, will get a top level factory ride. Hard to say where he will land. Watching him ride is impressive!!! Ducati needs to take a chance on a young buck like Zarco who is full of piss and vinegar. Stop signing veterans and sign a young hungry kid like Zarco.

Chaz Davies? Now that is an interesting call. One thing is for sure, Chaz rides the wheels off his WSB Ducati. I'd hate to see him leave WSB.

Peace.

Lcr is getting takahashi if that's how u spell it if he meets a contract goal Marc and dani aren't going anywhere.
Rossi wants to stay so there is no open seat.
Ducati who knows there farm team stinks

Good point both crutchlow and iaonne combined and has never won anything. Do you think davies or melandri would really win this year. Melandri drive has lost on like every bike in every class wsbk motogp do you think after all those years of losing you suddenly win

Pre-season I thought Davies had a real shot this year, especially after the way he closed out 2016. Unfortunately he has the Pani at it's absolute limit in order to be competitive and that's why he keeps crashing trying to stay with Rea.

I lost some respect for him the way he handled the qualifying situation in Assen.

Anyways - long shot that he would get a ride in MotoGP and even longer shot that he would get the factory Ducati seat. He would cost the team more than JLos salary with how often he crashes.

I don't think he crashes more than Kitty Litter Cal but I always expect him to crash in one of the races. I never think that of Rea or Sykes for that matter.

Chaz was pissed because he knows Rea well, and Johnny knew exactly what he was doing. Making sure the only guy on the grid capable of running with him is handicapped even further.

You may have missed my comment about 2019, not next year.

As far as I remember Rossi, Padrosa and Dovi are contracted to the end of the 2018 season.

I really think Rossi is gone after 2018 as well as Padrosa. Dovi not sure. Ducati could sign him for another 2 but I don't see why.

Yeah Rea may have been in the wrong but I felt that Chaz could have kept a little more quiet and let his throttle hand do the talking. It's a real shame he had the technical failure at the end of Race 1, although I think Rea would have had the win anyways. Who knows...

I love watching the two of them ride.

blade im with you but if lcr signs takashi in 18 its 2 years and cal is going to be signed again.

rossi has said again if he is competitive he will stay another 2 years. whats competitive though when you are on the M1? top 4? last on your team?

i think miller is gone from motogp. i think alexis is gone. redding should go as well as pertuci. iaonne should be gone. tito should go and ROSSI should 100% be gone.

zarco should get a factory yamaha ride
marquez and dani will stay. (dani has a relative high up in repsol)
maverick will stay.
cal has to stay there is nowhere else for him to go he failed on tech 3 and ducati so if he is gone from honda i guess he can go to suzuki or aprilla and cry there

its been a long day i cant think right now sorry the GOAT will be back tomorrow
