i recently made some changes to my 1199. way back when i got the bike i changed out the original windscreen for the zero gravity double bubble. well as i started riding the bike for longer and longer distances i quickly realized a new seat was a must. here lies the problem . being 5 11 and adding about 2-3 in in seat suddenly made the double bubble very useless it shot the wind right into my head instead of over it.
i was never a fan of the ducati race screen as i though it was very very cheaply made so i just stuck with the double bubble because as anyone with an 1199 knows changing the windscreen is not easy.
well low an behold my 1199 is now an all carbon tri but with that came a new windscreen. i knew i was changing the whole bike so i ordered a zero gravity corsa. only problem i have with it is its a little dark for the "light tinted one" other than that no problems and it was a huge difference.
i highly recommend the tall (corsa) wind screen option for anyone 6 ft or over or someone 5 10 with a comfort seat. it makes a world of difference.
hope everyone enjoyed some good food last night.
both bikes have a corsa windscreen. bike in all red is double bubble

Wait....so you have a red S and a tricolore now?

Aren't you supposed to be right below whitepanties for king of 1199 haters? :)

Just kidding dude. I'm lookin at a new screen since I just got my proTi windscreen bolts but I'm dreading doing that work reallllll bad!

Same bike..was converted :)

I just put a standard Zero Gravity on mine and the fit was way off. Lip on one side stuck out farther than the fairing. I sent it back, got a new one and it, too, was off (though not as bad). I think I'll steer clear of ZG windscreens in the future, as the hour it takes to take everything apart / put back together was a real pain in the ....

Ever notice how wrists can get super sore at low speeds (like filtering traffic)? But when you're cruising at 70 you're fine? That's because the wind is doing a swell job of picking you up off your bike, lowering the demands on your arms. I've never ridden on the street with a Double Bubble screen, but I imagine it would make things more difficult, not less (unless you're doing 150+!).

Mark,
Your Tri looks bad .... I always had ZG Corsa on my 1199 and its great. One thing people don't realize is that the DP is really not cheaply made. Its thin for a couple of reasons 1 optical clarity and 2 safety reasons and 3 its really easy to buff out any scratches.

Aaaaaand purchased the corsa screen. Post came at the right time because I was in the market for a new screen.

i know you are kidding but to be honest i never hated the 1199 i think its gorgeous. i dislike ducati as a brand. when you take it apart and or have many problems you can see how they cut corners all over the place. case in point would be the fairing bolts . they are so cheap its crazy. my bike is 100% perfect now. i love looking at it.

i just have a carbon tri. i replaced the body work.i had the pro ti bolts for a year before i installed them. i had a stripped mirror screw that was preventing me from changing out the screen. i waited for the body work because i didn't want to do the work. so i killed 2 birds with one stone
