I found my self both elated and devastated.

Elated for Bastianini and his team. He rode a well crafted race.

Devastated at the factory Ducati sqaud ... gawd what a way to start the year. Very uncharacteristic mistake by Peco ...

should be an interesting year to come ...
 
I never anticipated those placements but it was great to see MotoGP fire up again. What a sport! Watching the elite pros again immediately boosted my desire to do well in my amateur club racing. Good stuff!
 
As fast as Pecco is, he’s never been exceptional. Bastia on the other hand always has been, exuberant and talented [emoji106]

What’s more surprising is how ugly those Honda’s are, front end is hideous lol.

I’m really happy about Aprilia’s progress. That’s a good looking bike imo.

Miller is going to lose that seat for sure, it will be sad but he hasn't shown anything great except for his fist pumping and chest pounding.
 
The 2021 bike won and it was a shame that Pecco took Martin out. As far as Miller his bike lost its place on the track making it unrideable for the most part. Let's hope that they can get things figured out for the next race.
 
Hat's off to The Beast, Binder and Pol. It's so nice to see these guys at the front showing their potential. My hope is that they find consistency and fight every weekend this way. I also feel that we're going to watch Aleix win a race this season. fingers crossed.

He won 2 races which is more than most of the field, he was also top factory Ducati this race until it crapped out. 21 races so plenty of time to build points. Will Miller get close? cant see it but he will give a respectable result.

Seems like Miller is building some fire within. Let's see. Would be great to see him show up and win a few.
Hope they sort those electronics. That's a bummer. Wonder if Pecco binning it had anything to do with the issues Miller was having. Both went straight backwards on the start.
Found a descent interview in Italian. I'll translated it. They usually spill their guts in Italian but for the English journalists they do marketing:

PECCO: "it's strange, because all the Ducati GP22s started really bad. I lost a lot of positions and I was 16th in turn 3. At that point I started to push to try to recover as much as possible, but today we were not ready to fight for the victory. My pace wasn't bad, if compared to what we did this weekend, but not enough to think big.
