WSB Superbike Laguna Seca

I just got back from a brilliant 2 week bike trip, starting from Vancouver Canada, down thru Washington, Oregon, and Cali to watch the WSB at Laguna Seca where Chaz Davies won both races on the Duc, after the race weekend we went east thru lake Tahoe, Nevada, and Utah to Moab, to check out the arches and canyon lands national parks...the scenery there is absolutely stunning. Then we headed northwest back towards home, thru Salt Lake city, Idaho, Oregon and Washington, hell of trip, 7,050kms in all, and my Pani now has 30,000kms on it.
The bike performed flawlessly, however just days before leaving on the trip I had the 24,000km (15,000 mile) service done, this resulted in 2 problems occurring, the first one was a coolant leak caused by a split hose, luckily it was near the end of the hose, I just cut a 1/2" off and there was enough excess hose left to reconnect, the 2nd problem was one of the kickstand bolts vibrated out, very hard to find a 8mm socket head cap screw in the rural back woods of Cali, but I did find one, so after re-installing the bolt with a liberal splattering of loctite all my problems went away...Now I'm back at work and it sucks....lol

Some pretty amazing roads you on there.

I wanted to go last minute ride there only to have elec' bat' cable melt kill the bike, maybe next year.

Would be interested in a brief route description (Hwy you rode on along with general observation on gas and food/lodging amenities if you were on backroads (not interstates).

Just a paragraph or two would be fine.

Wow, did it all on your Pani! Tough guy (I mean it). Did you modify your Pani any to make it more of a sport tourer?

other than the Ducati comfort seat, saddle bags (bags connection from SWMotech) and the ducati tail bag the bike is a standard 2012...Trying to figure how to put pics on here, looks like I need a host pic site.
