Someone tried to steal my bike today and almost got away too... it was definitely a pro as not a single scratch or damage other than the ignition assembly and all other screws expertly removed...

Looks like I need the ignition assembly and a pair of keys and all the screws that go around it.

Bastages should have atleast left those screws.

Professional knows both how immobilizer works and what screws to remove to get ignition (fork lock) off

Tweaker prolly did that. Sorry man

The rear screw for the fuel tank/ignition bracket is still tight so that bracket is junk too. Looks like he pry the bracket up far enough for lock not to function. Why didn’t he push it away? You walk up on him or what? Not cheap fix and total pita but you are lucky yer not without bike!

I think I walked up to the bike right before they were attempting to haul it away. When I got home there was definitely a car that kept trying to backup into a dead end. The car ended up on the wrong side of the carport and had difficulty backing up, as if they weren't sure how about the turning radius or the space. At first I thought someone lost his way and didn't pay any attention [emoji53]. Lmao I actually backed up my car to let them out cause they were boxed in.
The bike is usually parked right next to the car so it usually reaches the passenger side door. When I was getting out of the car I realized it was a too close to the drivers door and thats when I noticed what happened..

The bike could have just been wheeled away and there was nothing holding it back. Smh.

I'll take better pics tomorrow but what else do you think needs to be ordered ?

I was thinking I just needed to buy this and the missing screws.

I see. Just purchased one off ebay for 10 bucks not bad.

Got a question. Do I have to buy the set "38510201B Key Operated switch" or can I just buy a used ignition and get my original key rekeyed to that ignition ? Trying to go the cheapest route without replacing the passenger key lock as well.

The brand new set is $350 I found a seller with just the ignition lock for $100.
