Hi, can someone shed some light on the front sprocket issue? Is the 14t too small? Is the 15-41 the way to go?

This weekend I bought a 14t front sprocket for $35 and a master link for $7. I changed the sprocket myself. Problem solved. End of story... no wait! Forgot to mention that the change in character is EPIC!!!!! In town traffic speeds are now no problem, blasting out of slow mountain corners...

For those of you that did the job yourself. Did u have to do any adjustments to the chain or extend the wheel base? If so can you show me how thank you.

I was thinking of doing a sprocket change to move the power band down a bit. I did the 14 tooth front sprocket change and it really helped the bike for me. For the panigale what are the advantages/ disadvantages to doing a 14 tooth front sprocket vs. a 41 tooth rear sprocket? thanks!

Just picked up my Tri from the dealer after it's first service and having all the bits bolted on and came up with one funny one. The only bit that couldn't be done was fitting the manifold to complete the system. We were waiting for factory to reopen after the Christmas break as the manifold...

Normally on my Ducs I ritualistically up the rear sprocket, but the guys at the shop convinced me to try this instead. It's not as drastic a change as the rear has been on my 996, 848, or any of my monsters, but its a nice improvement: 1. Surprisingly cheap mod, even if the dealer does it...
