Hey everyone,
I've ridden with ducs since 2011 and I've finally bought one. I got the V4 Pani in red and took it to the painter. He made it all italian looking then I got the suspension lowered a bit. I'm barely 5'2" and I have ordered a seat. I had a funny conversation with a guy friend...
I'm shopping for a Ducati 1299, I'm seeing the same bikes for sale over and over, some for months. Seems they all have higher milage than others that have sold for thousands more. Seems 6-9k is high mileage compared to others in the area. What is considered high milage on a 1299?
New to the forum. Great source of info.
Had my 2015 1299S since April. Pretty sure I hadn't noticed this before but I've got video and I will go back and check.
At the top of the display, you have two pairs of red LED groups either side that are shift lights.
Between these two groups...
Paddock rumour, gossip and speculation has it that Petronas will take over the Yamaha Tech3 Satellite bikes for next year, meaning that there will be vacant seats on a Yamaha.
Can't think who that might be being lined up for ?
I got the rapid bike installed back in January and took the bike apart. Today I rode the bike. The cooling fans turned on when the bike hit the correct temperature. When I shut the bike off the fans shut off. I dont remember whether the fans stay on once the bike shuts off or do they shut off...
Not very often is there a new product that I am THIS excited about! Those who "get it" will get it..... :D
BSD has just release a new kit to remove the heavy standard ignition key housing from track bikes and provide simple push-button on/off ignition function! YESSSSS!!!

Hi All,
Looks like Ducati is making the DTC EVO upgrade available to earlier bikes

Has anyone seen this Grand Old Shootout yet?

Ducati fan - HELLS YES 10 million times over, loyalist for life right here folks!!
However, I have thrown my leg over a few other nice rides in my day, as so many other members here have secondary bikes of their own - dedicated track bikes or something more comfy to ride when your right leg or...
Yamaha anounced they are putting the flag of vietnam on the 46 and 25 to boost their fan base in that country. I guess they don't care about us old timers in the USA, the largest customer base they have in the WORLD.
Time for a bit of a tidy up pulled all the old bikes out the shed . The two silver Ducatis are 1975 750 super sport quite a rare bike only made 240 of them in the world a real production factory race bike of the 70,s one is mine the other is a friends who is mechanically ........ so I'm giving...
I hope some of you get a kick out of this.
I have an external garage. When I'm out there woodworking or messing with my bikes, if I have a power tool running, compressor, etc., I can't hear my cell phone ring.
This upsets the wife when she is preparing a meal and has to walk outside and over...
I've had about 35 different bikes. Cruisers, sport bikes, sport tourers, a dual sports. There are only 2 I regret not having today. The first was a 1982 Kawasaki KZ1000 with a 4 into 1 Kerker. The other was my 2004 Honda RC51. I fell in love with v twin sport bikes on that RC51.
I just sold...
Pretty cool article with Michael Rutter doing all the riding. Some of the revelations were very interesting. Particularly with the SL vs the BSB bike. I don't have a PDF copy or I would upload it, but I'm sure someone can find it on the web if you can't find a copy at your local book store.
Apologies if there has already been a thread on this. Just looked at extending the warranty on my 1299 as the 2 years are up in April. With the 1199 you needed to give six months notice if you wanted to extend.
Been told by the dealer that Ducati cancelled their old extended warranty policy...
