Cylinder Head Plugs: Another Titanium Bling Project

Dear Members I wish you all a happy new year! Wow! This year, my first Panigale has its 7th Anniversary! I can not believe how fast time passes. There are some plugs in the cylinder head (shown in attached picture). I want to replace them with titanium parts which are securable with safety...

    Most stupid Bling thing ever?

Not much technical is going on currently on this forum. So, after a bottle of red wine I decided to present you the most useless piece of bling I ever did to my Panigales: The TTX rear shock expansion vessel valve cover screw!!! I just cut down a PodiumRacing windscreen Ti bolt. Pictures...

    Bling: This time it's invisble

I am currently trying to clean up the inner parts of the airbox. 1st picture is the original OEM setup, 2nd and 3rd picture are with the modified velocity stacks and my screw set :) Suprise: your intake system is 2kg heavy, wow. I have to find a way to make it lighter. OEM: 2 x 1034g...

    Bling: Throttle Body

Today I installed a new throttle housing, CNC milled from aluminium. It's made by JetPrime. Besides the fact that it looks great, it give's you free space on the right handlebar and you get rid of another piece of OEM plastics :) It's about 40g heavier than the OEM parts.

Some new workshop bling, another 1199S, and a "blonde"

Between working and family commitments, I like to muck about in my workshop slowly improving the set up. I recently put in a great stereo system all with high end pieces that I have purchased secondhand over the last 2 years. Couple of years ago I got an old stereo cabinet from the 1970's...

Bling: Rear Rocker Arm Weight Comparison

As promised a comparison between the OEM, the Ducabike and the MotoCorse rear rocker arms: Weight -------------------------- OEM: 370g Ducabike: 415g MotoCorse: 390g Design: -------------------------- OEM: Nice, functional and lightest!!!! (as expected, Ducati has some great...

    MotoCorse Bling

It's getting quiet on the bling front on this forum :) So, here's a picture of my post X-mas package I received today.

    Bling: Fuel Tank design...

Currently I'm working on some little modifications on the fuel tank, all bling nature. I thought you guys might like the look of it naked :)

    Bling: Rear Brake Carrier

Today a friend brought me some new 3D CNC milled rear brake caliper carriers with hollow Titanium driving pins. I'll keep you posted about fitment and look as soon as I've got them installed. Weight is the same as the OEM, but more stable. Pins are almost weightless :)

A little bling never hurt anyone....

And I mean little. These tiny Proti bolts for the windscreen look great. And some pieces off to the anodisers. I will send the Proti bolt so hopefully they can match the colour. Also included a little photo of my latest mod to the trailer. LED light (removable) mounted on an upside down...

    Bling Do and Dont

Two things.... First I thought it would be looking cool to use tygon tubes for the fuel tank air vent hoses. Don't do that. Tubes will melt within days! :( Second somebody on the forum asked whether the SL rear axle alu cone ring fits to other panigales. Yes, it fits. Alternatively you can...

A little bling never hurt anyone...

Well with the rear sets on it became a morning of Rizoma as I ripped off the nose cone and fitted the Rizoma mirrors, I can already tell they are going to be WAY better than OEM - man they really are a POS. I have been speaking to Jav at Bellissimoto the last few days and have ordered a 41T...

    DucaBike Rear Suspension Bling

Dear friends of "the Bling" Today I installed some new parts recently ordered on the DucaBike website. Perfect fittment, easy to install (if you have a crane handy), and IMHO cool looking. It's very easy to change the riding height and there are two different versions of the pushrod lenght...

    Cheap Bling

Even though the Pani is in a high price segment, some parts are made in a very cheap way. What I really don't like is that a lot of aluminium parts on my 2012 tri are not anodised or protected in another way against corrosion. Another thing I never liked is gunmetal-finished surfaces on...

    Cheap Bling.

I was really impressed with (antihero ??) I think it was anyway he painted the small ducati emblem emboss on his tailpiece. I scratched the tailpiece on my bike with the buckle of my boots just after I got the bike. Anyway had it repainted recently and so I would use some spare touch up to...

    Free bling

Take one: Add: and Presto: Simply rub the paint into the Ducati grooves, wipe excess away with a slightly damp cloth and viola--red inlay.
