anybody had an issue when installing an aftermarket 520 conversion sprocket and carrier? I have a 41 tooth sprocket on the carrier and when installing on the bike it sits way to far back? Like the sprocket edge is almost touching the swingarm. Looking along the chain guide from the rear to the...
If I'm going to take off the sprocket carrier to put on a different one does a rear stand need to be used?
It looks like the steps are
Loosen sprocket carrier bolts
Remove 55mm axle nut
Remove carrier and replace
So if this is accurate does the tire need to be off the ground?
I dont...
So I'm in the process of swapping out the OEM stuff for the quick change stuff and have a question about the washer that sits between the OEM hub and the bearing. It appears as thought the Superlight hub does not use it. There is a slight recessed area for it to sit in on the OEM hub but not the...

Hi All,
I have a question about installing this quick change carrier I bought. It seems that on the backside of the carrier it is recessed so that the sprocket sits too far back against the hub. When I look at the OEM piece that came off it seems to be more flush all the way across the back...
What's up guys? I went to remove my rear carrier/hub assembly to change the rear sprocket and found that it was a ..... to get off. Having never removed the carrier on my 1199 before I'm not sure if this is SOP or should it slide off easily once the large nut and chain is removed? Also my...
Today a friend brought me some new 3D CNC milled rear brake caliper carriers with hollow Titanium driving pins. I'll keep you posted about fitment and look as soon as I've got them installed.
Weight is the same as the OEM, but more stable. Pins are almost weightless :)
been looking and can't find one. Either stock 39T or 41T is fine, but every 520 rear sprocket option requires buying the whole kit and caboodle. Would like to just swap in a 520 and be done with it; I don't need fast sprocket change abilities.
Hey guys,
I bought some CNC racing bolts to replace the oem ones on the Rear sprocket Carrier.. But I'm unable to remove the original bolts; they unscrew for a while then seam to be spinnning freely like I need to hold something in the back (but I can't reach there)
Any hints...

Just started thinking about changing the rear carrier and sprocket and would love to see what others have done. Might change gearing or not. Your imput is greatly appreciated. The bike is used for street riding and maybe a track day or two.
