defects

Hi guys, some of my not ducati owner friends informed me that 1199 is facing quality problems regarding oil spoil in the uper side of our engine and that causes to start dropping oil everywere. is that true?? did any of you face that ? Also i cant find a good chain oil to use, i use castrol...
