Hi folks, From all the setting on the bike I found EBC to be the hardest to understand and maybe to feel as well. Maybe to understand because at first, reading the manual, one can get easily confused between NO engine brake =/=EBC off. Clearly EBC level 3 is as close to no engine brake...

Is the higher the EBC number the more engine braking or the lower the EBC the more engine breaking? Also looking to purchase a full system for my 2012 1199, who has the best price including the up map?

Edit: Lets talk clutch... Ill start with the disclaimer that I did search for a little while before this thread. After I got my bike home a few weeks ago and rode those 40 miles or so before the forks took a chit I set up the race mode parameters to my liking with EBC set to 3 or in lamens...

Just tried it for kicks at my latest track day. I love it. Works better than I could have hoped. For me I smoothed out the mid corner throttle adjustments because I could just let the bike roll through the corner. This bike just keeps getting better and better.

I know this is a dumb question...But I am not sure I really understand the use/function of this option... I understand engine braking...but I have never had the ability to adjust it.. and having changed the settings I must say I don't notice any difference...So.... Am I missing something...
