Hey there. Ok I'm building a custom race bike. I'm going to be using 1199s forks one it. Couple questions. First, if you wanted to go to manual cap adjustments what do the stepper motors caps do? Just spin rods all the way down in the fork as a manual would? I see people asking this similar...
Anyone have any experience with it? I'm gonna try and get it on my R so I can still race with my damn (hopefully temporary) foot drop. GP Cycles in San Diego has experience with Translogic's but I'm told they're not making them anymore so he's looking into Pro Shift's.

i am looking to upgrade my 2013 1199r to the higher end ohline suspension. Currently i have the factory electronic stuff but want to go to their high end mechanical suspension. Anyone converted this before? anyone know if the ECU has to be flashed or can I just unplug the old stuff and go about...
Hi all,
So, I am now a licensed CCS Amateur! Wahoo! Just in time for the season to end....
Well, I wanted to get licensed to start running the next season competitively, So I couldn't have done it too much later.
My question is, reading all the mounting instructions for the ESU...
A buddy of mine has a ZX-10RR, we're checking out each other's bikes, when I realize that the steering dampers appear to be identical, down to the type of plug for the wiring. Only difference is that ours are silver and Kawasaki uses matte black.
Which got me thinking...my steering damper is...
Hi Folks,
I can select all the rider modes and adjust all systems except for the electronic suspension. the up/ down selector skips right over it. It is grayed out like it is not functional. Just wondering if it could be associated with my right turn signal failing after 5 minutes (Ducati...
Can someone post picture or video on how the electronics should look like behind the main fairing underneath the fuel tank.
On both sides please, I replaced the thermostat unit just want to make sure it goes back together how it should.
We offer a service to convert an electronic 1199S/1299S Ohlins TTX shock to manual adjusters for installation on a 1199/1299 base model, or 899/959! If you can score a deal on a used shock from a Panigale S model, and have this conversion performed, you'll be into a TTX for your Panigale for...
I have seen mentions randomly about settings used on track, but I wanted to try to get as much info in one place as possible.
Where have you found the best success with Traction Control and Wheelie Control?
We can discuss Engine Braking also, but I feel like that is something that is...
Curious on this. I am thinking about switching to a Bitubo nitrogen system or upgrading the Ohlins. I am going to be overseas for awhile so I am planning to convert my 14 S into a full track bike while I'm gone.
The dealer informed me that the shocks on the 1299S now adjust automatically (dynamic) due to the road conditions.
Does the fork or rear shocks lower or raise when the setting is Soft or Hard?
I have a 2013 Panigale s and I'm trying to find a tutorial or a how to set up the suspension. I read the ones that I can find and still feel unsure about it. I'm aware of how to go in and change the settings, but just not what it means when a change each setting. I do mostly daily driving and...
Part of the reason I bought the pani is to try a bike with modern electronics. EBC is the only one I really like (I like 2 strokes!), rest I could take or leave....I guess that's a result of having growing up in the era of no electronic aids.
So, what electronic aid floats your boat? Could...
Hi,
I am having a major issue with my 2012 1199 Base and was wondering if anyone has had similar issues?
The issue i am having is that in any gear no matter what the throttle position is the rpm of the bike jumps around and does not accelerated, the bike backfires and throws huge flames...
So I called MotoWheel and they no longer do the conversion and have no referrals. Sucks. I googled Larry Albin and his contact number no longer works haha. Sooooo just wondering if anyone has a person or shop who can convert it?
TIA
another great idea ducati had was the rubber booties that cover the electronic suspension. they kind of look like flexible straws and ducati in their infinite wisdom didnt give an extra 1/4 of an inch so these things are pretty stretched out to begin with..
anyhow mine are of course split...
took the bike to work today, went to leave and start it, and got a check engine DES error when i turned the ignition on and before i started the engine.
any fixes?
bike had 156 miles on it
