flywheel

I'm trying to order a lightened flywheel for my 899 project that will have a 1299 stator and cover when it arrives. Anyone have one of these flywheels installed? I assume it's basically an 1199 R style, or anyone have any dealings with these guys...

Hi i got a used 996 that i am trying to get sorted it. it had some pretty bad starting problems, so i went to do a refresh on the internals of the flywheel side, starter, etc. The sprag was COMPLETELY destroyed. I am not fully sure, but i think the order of things internally were not...

Looks like there are 3 special tools shown in the manual to remove the Flywheel (on 1199). Available from both Ducati and HDESA for similar prices (too much). Is there any way to get away without 1 or more of these tools or maybe there's another similar puller that works that someone has found...

Anyone know if the flywheel is the same for the 1199, from the 10 or 1198? I installed the lightweight racng flywheel on my 1098 and it spooled up SO much faster on take offs. I had to change to a 16t in the front to keep the bike down. However it was much faster overall. I'm wondering if this...
