Hi all.
Was wondering if anyone had any opinions on the rad and oil cooler guards?
Approx $200 from Evotech but on the V4 it looks like you're dismantling half the bike to install them. Worth the effort and cost? Apart from cosmetic damage, has anyone punctured a cooler?
I have a set of authentic Ducati Performance carbon heel guards for the 1199 for sale. They are brand new never installed. Actual Ducati parts as you can see from the pics...not some chinese junk. Ducati sells these for $175 online and I am asking $125 shipped anywhere in the lower 48.
Has anyone tried any hand guards on the 1299? I'm looking to extend my riding season, and my hands are the weakest link. I already have great winter gloves (REV'IT! Aquila H2O), but the wind still gets to me about 30 minutes into my commute.
So, have you tried any of the options from...
Another great video by the YouTube user Moto Dutchman.
The video shows how easy it is to install the Dieci83 radiator and oil cooler guards, also shows how nicely the fit as well.

As part of prepping my bike for the track, I wanted to put on some lever protectors.
I never thought that they were all that necessary if one wasn't racing; but then one day I had some contact passing someone on the brakes into a corner (my knee, his bar). Whoops. Anyway, that event and the...
new track bike has a set of DP rear sets without the heel guards, don't care about the Carbon fiber versions. but if any one has some OEM heel guards they are willing to let go of let me know!
thanks
quick query - has anyone installed the Ducati Performance Carbon Heel Guards and, if so, do you find that the right hand side heel guard actually bends out and away from the swingarm (as it comes up vertically and bends rearward from the footpeg) so that when you have the ball of your right foot...
First I have to thank Randy @Bellisimoto, Gecko, Phil and Gunny for all the help on these. Rizoma's directions are universal at best so I am making this step by step guide with pics to show how it works on our bike directly. There are no listed torques so I just used the good and tight method...
I wanted to replace the ugly looking OEM heat guards at the opposite end to the opening on the exhaust. Some go for $250+ and I've been told that as they sit right on the exhaust they discolour in no time at all. Due to this the manufacturers are unwilling to sell them with a guarantee as they...
Re- worked my radiator guards, before I had them clipped in place externally which worked out OK, but wanted to see if I could make a better job. The bottom one is folded to the shape then the sides and top folds are siliconed to the cowl, the top one as its not so visually important is cut to...
Thought I'd share my review and experience with you all about Cox radiator guards. I've had my Tri since the came out in 2012 and luckly I haven't had any issues with projectiles in my radiator but the group I ride with was informing me of how important radiator guards are so I finally started...
Hey guys
I made it, I spent 4 hours to install these freaking guards. Overall very good quality, they are just very difficult to install, the panigale is so tight around the radiators
And this is final result
I know there has been a few threads on rad guards, cox vs r and g vs evo tech easy of installation and whatever.
anyone check out ducati usa recently they are now selling re branded evo tech rad guards.
i just find that funny
