Hi folks, has anyone managed to replace the standard heat shield with a nice quality carbon piece that will still allow the fitment of the pillion hangars ?

Does anyone know if the passenger pegs from base/S are compatible with the heat shield on the 2015 R? I know it sounds crazy but thinking about adding passenger pegs to my R because my wife and kids would like to be able to go for a ride on it at some point.

Hey guys curious if anyone has tried this? is it possible at all? The 1299 heat shield is way cleaner than the updated 1199's. Even if it mount points are different on the loop is it possible to switch the loop from the 1299 with the shield?

I have the carbon fibre heatshield from a full system I don't need. I am not entirely sure what is needed in terms of mounting hardware, but there are a few nuts and bolts already attached. Looks pretty damn perfect, but a little blueing at the top. Pretty sure you actually can't see it when...

Ok so about a month ago I took the plunge and had the heat-shield update done on both exhaust and cylinders - today I noticed the top of my hugger has started to melt and Bubble - had anyone else noticed?
