hugger

Dealer is working on this but the carbon is getting cooked by the pipe... If you have this combo, please let me know if you're seeing this. Dealer did go to Ducati with it, but no answer yet.

I replaced my rear hugger with a Bestem CF one but it immeditely warped and cracked after one ride. Does anyone have a good carbon hugger suggestion???

Quick survey. Is anyone running without a rear hugger? Took mine off to change it a bit and really liked the look of the bike without it. I know that without it you would get more dirt and on wet roads even more water on your back. But I am wondering if it could have any negative effects...

I just noticed part of the rear hugger has warped or melted. Seems to be from heat from exhaust. Hope the dealer can resolve. Anyone else have this issue?

Please take a look at the attached pic off the rear tire hugger on my 1299S. Any other 1299 owners experiencing this?

Anyone having an issue with the heat from the exhaust effecting the rear tire hugger on their 1299? With mine so far it is just creating a round shiny spot about 3-4 inches in diameter on the hugger just below the bend on the exhaust pipe.

Well, I ended up doing a heat wrap on the exhaust today - took about 6 hours to take the entire exhaust apart, wrap everything and put it back on. Now during the install it looks like I misplaced the screws on the rear hugger - I found the 4 screws with a bit of red loctite on them but they...

My CF rear fender seems to be tweaked. Was working on my bike and noticed that right side is farther away from tire than left and flat are in the rear of it is maybe 1/2 inch higher than the left. Could someone please post a picture of theirs from the rear so I can compare? Has...

Anyone seen this on their bike? It just appeared yesterday.. It's and even rash as you can see but I can't explain how it got there? The license plate could not have rubbed so I'm stumped.

Hi has anybody had a problem with the hugger melting. Went out on bike yesterday for the first time after 80 mile last 3 miles in first gear as the bolt fell out the gear linkage. Noticed the hugger was a bit worse for wear melted.

where is a site i can order the carbon front hugger the same the S model comes with stock? i see lots of aftermarket ones but i want the same as the S and preferably the little ducati sticker on it still.

While cleaning my bike yesterday I noticed what initially looked like a wet spot or oil on the lower/fwd portion of my mud guard. Upon closer inspection, I could see the sheen was actually melted plastic, bubbles and all. I'll be posting pics later when I return from the dealer. I live and ride...
