limit

Does the v4r need the full exhaust/upmap to rev to 16k rpm? I was told it did and without it it will max at 13k rpm.

Read through the wealth of Tuneboy threads here and found a reference to rev limit increase for the 1299. I wrote Tuneboy and they confirmed it's possible using TuneEdit to increase the rev limit. Does anyone have experience with raising the rev limit of the 1299S to for example 12000 rpm...

My bike all of a sudden started having a problem where the rev limit cuts off at 10,000 rpm. The bike will not rev past that while riding nor while reving in place. Does it in every gear. When it hits 10,000 rpm, the center red light turns on (right above the yellow TC light) and just bouces off...
