I used the heat guard stickers that came with the exhaust, but the heat is still causing the lower fairing to bubble up by the union and the primary pipe along the side of the rear brake pedal. I should have used heat wrap before the install but I didn't. So now I'm looking at taking the exhaust...

Hi has anybody had a problem with the hugger melting. Went out on bike yesterday for the first time after 80 mile last 3 miles in first gear as the bolt fell out the gear linkage. Noticed the hugger was a bit worse for wear melted.

ok, was cleaning bike today and notice part of my lower right fairing, where the "long" pipe is exposed. (there is a welding point for the springs, and that welding point has melted the fairing) :mad: i got pics on the phone,will upload later. Has this happened to anyone else?? hmmm...
