High milage bikes in the North East

I'm shopping for a Ducati 1299, I'm seeing the same bikes for sale over and over, some for months. Seems they all have higher milage than others that have sold for thousands more. Seems 6-9k is high mileage compared to others in the area. What is considered high milage on a 1299?

    So... North American buyers...

Anyone got any updates from their dealers yet? I was told the Ducati internal system updates when the bike is on the boat, and should arrive within 2-3 weeks after that. In the system mine still shows Feb delivery. So it should be updating any day now. I'm anxious, obviously. But just wondering...

New 1199S Owner From North Jersey

Just wanted to say hi. I've been riding for almost 10 years but I just bought my first Ducati. It's a 2012 1199S. Ever since I was a kid I always wanted a bright red Ducati, I can't believe I finally own one. I can't wait to ride this thing on the track. My previous bikes were both 600's...

https://www.bloomberg.com/news/videos/2016-12-08/ducati-unleashes-its-80k-1299-superleggera This post is NOT about the SL being worth it or not! In the interview, I thought it was interesting Ducati NA CEO saying himself that the customers should go out and take it to the track to "experience"...

    New North Bay Rider

Just picked up another Ducati, so I guess I should stop lurking, right? Recently moved to the Bay Area and bought a home. Picked up a Monster 1200 S in Newport on my way up the coast and weekend before last, I accidently a 1299 Panigale S. oh boy. I miss my Palomar Mountain, but you...

Track day at NCCAR May 16/VIR north may 18

Was originally heading to deals gap and the cherahala skyway...and then everyone bailed because "it might rain"--so instead of hanging out in TN for a few days I decided to drive to NC and VA and do some track days. Is anyone else planning on being there? I'm leaving Columbus Friday morning and...

Why the DiavelStrada is a North America-beater

I've put almost 20K on my bike in a little over a year. Much of that in the Four Corners states, but also in Ozarkia and Appalachia, plus home-base in central Florida. Aside from the weak-ass panniers, and rear-tyres that can be scrubbed to the belts in just 3K miles (if you're really...

North America even further delay :-/

I'm so fed up with Ducati/Ducati North America, when does the bs end... Though there will be unvailing ceremony at most US dealers next week on the 27th and 28th, customers bikes are delayed yet even more. I've called a few local and random Duc dealers to inquire and it is evident and...
