Anybody knows the torque for the 4 Allen screws that hold in place the passenger foot pegs bracket under the tail frame? I can't find it in service manual and please don't say "snug" if you don't know the answer. Also, what would be the torque for the 2 smaller bolts that connect each...

Looking to replace the stock pegs with something more grippy. Don't want to pay $600 dollars for new rearsets as I like the stock ones. Any suggestions for grippy peg replacements? Ebay has $30 ones that look like they would be completely fine. Let me know suggestions. Thanks!

Well, this is apparently 1299 specific, so here it goes.. Have anyone actually installed or removed the passenger pegs themselves? I can't figure out if there is a way to get them out after removing the screws.. It looks like they are stuck in the exhaust heat shield with some pins/pegs cast...
