Hey guys, looks like another fun day of the Duc ownership. I'm looking to swap out the waterpump myself with the help of the workshop manual. Help! New owner of a beautiful 94 SS. When turned on, I can't hear fuel pump turn on but bike starts and runs while idling. After 5 minutes riding, loses power and stops, stranding me. When I lifted tank, I saw the 4 wire electrical connector was pulled apart, I believe this is to fuel pump...

No dash, lights, fuel pump, nothing when key is turned. Any help appreciated.

Hi guys/gals. I have an issue that I'd appreciate any suggestions on. the backstory: 2013 1199 S ~6500 miles. Never any issues before this. Hadn't ridden the bike for two weeks, so started it to make sure all was good before going out for a ride in the morning. Started right up no issues...

Metal water pump gear and impeller blade

I've searched high and low for a source for these with no luck. I have access to a local aeronautical machinist who could replicate them in aluminum or steel, but before I go that route, does anyone know of a place where they can be purchased? This would be for a 2014 1199s. Thanks in advance.

    1199 Fuel Pump Won't Prime

Hi Guys, Am at my wits end after my bike failed to start even with health cranking. Realised that the fuel pump doesn't prime at the turn of the key except for the Exhaust Valve opening and closing. What could be wrong? Tried troubleshooting the Fuse and Relays but the Maintenance Manual...

    Notice-Water pump leak

I have a 2015 Panigale 1299S. I sent it to MelilliMoto for the 600 mile check up. No complaints there. Adam is a really good tech at MelilliMoto and was a race team tech for Danny Eslick. I had a slight/small water pump leak. Adam said it was pooling between the base of the cylinder heads. He...

This is what it looks like when you water pump lets go on your new 15R

4 weeks ETA on getting the bike back. I knew something was up but didn't think it was that bad because the leak stopped on its own. So rode it as normal to the dealership for its first service but I was wrong. It apparently used a lot of oil during the first 1000kms as well, don't know if...

Metal gears for the water pump drive?

So, we had a bit of a brake down (AGAIN!) this weekend, and now it's back to the workshop once again to try to get the bike back together in time for the upcoming Swedish PRO SBK champs this weekend. It doesn't look too good, but we'll work hard to make it... Fingers crossed Anyways...
