pumps

So I got a 1999R fuel tank and want to put it on my 1199S and my buddy has a base 1199 with a dent on his fuel tank and he wants my 1199s fuel tank. Are all the pumps the same, all the bikes were 13-14? Or do we need to swap all the pumps around. I tried to search this but didn't find...

I was told that a lot of the oil pumps on te race bikes are letting go, meaning new engine pretty much. Has me skeptical about mine, mines only a road bike but how often should the oil pumps be checked or O rings replaced? Since it's a massive thing and if they screw up shouldn't they be checked...
