I'm replacing my timing belts and checking my valves for the first time on my own. I have watched many videos and read alot of post. I wanted to get more clarification on step by step what I need to do. Is there any video out out there that goes in detail start to finish on how to mark the...
So after a mishap at the track with a buddy I ended up with a damaged rear rim on my 1299s. Question is, is it worth fixing? Should I just look for a used one or do I just sell my front and not worry about having a backup set of wheels?

Searched around and got mixed answers.
My 2014 speedo clocks have cracked (classic condensation issue) and assuming I'm probably out of warranty?
So if I buy some second hand clocks, will the bike pick up a new mileage figure or is my bikes' mileage stored centrally?
Cheers

The battery seems dead. Even I connected it to battery tender, it doesn't go up more than 12.0 V.
I think it's time to use either Li battery or stock one.
It would be appreciated if you guys give suggestions!
Ive got the stock supers on my 1199 and the rear is getting a little more squared off than i like so i want to replace it. Ive heard you can typically get 2 rears for 1 front but have no idea how to tell if the front is still good. It still has decent tread and no squaring. Im not sure if i...
Hi,
I have a 1199S which still had the original OEM tyres (Supercorsa V2) from 2012 as I bought it recently used and the original owner had done less that 3K klms. I have added another 1K klms and was wondering if I should replace the tyres due to age. The front still has around 1-2mm...
I'm about to take on the job of replacing the rear brake pads on my 1199.
Does anybody have any tips?
It looks like it would be easier to accomplish with the wheel off, which is easy to do.
So I got back to my office this afternoon and my rear was flat due to a GD screw in the contact patch. I did a MacGyver fix and putted home with her. Anyhoo, going through the million threads on replacing the tires, I only have 1300miles on the tires so I'll be keeping the front obvi. I came...
So I'm looking to swap out the levers. What's a good/great brand? And are they ez to change? Looks like you don't have to drain lines or anything. Should be a few nuts and bolts right. In all my bikes, I've never swapped out levers. Thanks, Sergio :)
Takes less than 15 minutes.
The key is to upload the weight off the suspension enough to allow the rear wheel hang just a hair line off the ground.
1. Put the bike on the front stand, placed a piece of plywood under the exhaust canister and jack up the bike using a floor jack. (2 mins or...
Hey Y'all
I'm going to Barber with US Desmo in April and more then likely I'll get a day at Little Tally next March. I need to replace the antifreeze with Distilled water. Anyone has already did that?
Thanks a bunch
