So I saw my buddy Speedy has Sato racing hook on his 1299S and I thought it doesn't fix (according to Sato racing website) but I took a chance ordering a set since I saw it was possible. when I got it, I tried fit test it and sure enough it doesn't fit since the exhaust heat guard is in the way...

Installing the Satos now and am having a hard removing the the shift linkage to replace with the one Sato provided. Has anyone here done this already and can advise please? Pics to show current status. Please advise.
