Cored Exhaust, Slip-Ons and AFR Management

Because of the exhaust covers on the V4, it seems like it would be easier to hide the post coring surgical scars compared to the 1299/959. It will be interesting to read about methodologies, experiences, after-market exhaust products and AFR management solutions going forward.

Akrapovic slip-ons - does removing baffles (decibel killers) change the midrange?

Hello All, Does removal of the baffle inserts ( or decibel killers ) change the midrange? Has anyone tested the difference on a dyno (not an 'I've got 210bhp with my full system fitted arsedyno') but a proper one that gives a more accurate readout ;)? Im assuming that it must change the...

Termignoni Evolution slip-ons: first road impressions

Keep in mind that the matching air filter has yet to be installed, and I've ordered a Tuneboy kit to do some custom mapping with a tuner. - low speed fueling needs a tweak. not that any Ducati shines in this department, but it's a touch worse - but after 2000-2500, it comes alive. much less of...

Anyone running the new Termignoni Slip-ons?

Just traded my 2013 1199S for a new 1299S and I'm feeling the increase in heat compared to my 1199 which had termi slip-ons from the day that it was delivered from the dealer. Don't want to blow crazy money on a full system and the Termis seem like the best option at this time, specially from a...

    Internal packing on Termi slip-ons

OK, so I tore apart my Termi slip-ons to ceramic coat them, I am curious if anyone else has pulled these apart as well?? I am curious if the packing material in the ends of the cans is needed or if you can do away with the stuff?? Mike

    de-loudifying Termi slipons

I know, the title is bad English. I want to take my Pani on the track. The nearest track to me has 95 db noise limit. The frame sticker says 102 db and I guess that means stock pipes. I have the Termi slipons so the bike is probably louder than stock. How is the noise level measured in...

Hey guys I am buying the Pani in the next couple of days I am having trouble deciding on which to go with. Anyone DIY INSTALL their Termi Slip-ons?

I gave up on waiting for the Austin single side dual outlet option with bellypan option and bought a brand new Termi slip on kit for $1,550.00. I've always done exhaust mods myself on all of my bikes. I opened the box last night and holy smokes are there a lot of bits. Maybe once I get going...

Termi Slip-ons used for normal commuting???

I plan on riding my Pani on the road to commute and to take extended trips (200-500 mile trips). The Termi slip-ons indicate its for Race use only. I want the better throttle response but will the Termi Slip-ons ruin "something" on the bike if I use the bike for "regular" (Not Racing) use with...

    Slipons to full system

So I know there are two camps here, one that rates the full system and one that doesn't but I was wondering if anyone has gone down the route of starting with slipons and the added the headers later? If you have what difference did it make to the power, torque and sound? (Fuel economy?) Thanks

    Termignoni Slip-Ons and Mapping.

My .... is POPPING! More than normal, there is something wrong with this map IMHO. My exhaust is blackened by the hole. I am running 91 Octane here in CA, is this related to the Charcoal canister in any way? Any insight is helpful. Gonna get this thing mapped from Matt at Motowheels soon so...

Can the Termi Slip-ons be JetHot coated too?

Does anyone know if the 1199 Termignoni Slip-ons can be Jet Hot coated as well? Would they have to be dismantled? I had all of the pieces of my Twin Can Carbon Fiber Termi's Jet Hot coated on my 2012 Monster 1100 Evo. (except for the carbon fiber of course.)
