new recall, chain tensioner this time should be straight forward, your dealer need to tighten it up to spec so, I guess your bike does not come full spec when leaving factory

has anyone had a leak from cam chain tensioner? can the tensioner be removed without the chain jumping? im hoping leak is only on the sealing washer, any info be great! thanks

Anybody know if the camshaft tensioners are hydraulic or are they mecanical, can't seem to find the answer on the search function. On my rsv4 they are hydralic and when you start it when the engine is hot it makes a ticking noise for a minute until the oil builds pressure.
