Best bike thing I've done for ages - new cheek pads and head lining

I've ridden for quite a few hours in my current Arai helmet and it was beginning to feel a little sloppy. Last night I replaced the cheek pads and head lining and now it feels like a new helmet again. Don't know why I didn't do it sooner, I'd highly recommend doing it. :D

Seems like a simple thing - lights toggle

Would be cool to be able to turn the headlight and tail light function off within the menu options when selecting "Track" mode. Would be nice not to have to tape them up or disconnect them every time I want to go to the track. I wonder if any other make does this. I guess I could hard...

Is there such a thing as a down map?

Hi, Got a question concerning restoring an ecu to oem after installation of the Ducati upmap which comes with the termi slip on system. Is there such a thing as a down map and where can I get hold of it? I have a opportunity to get a termi slip on but the owner wants to restore their Ecu...

    Most stupid Bling thing ever?

Not much technical is going on currently on this forum. So, after a bottle of red wine I decided to present you the most useless piece of bling I ever did to my Panigales: The TTX rear shock expansion vessel valve cover screw!!! I just cut down a PodiumRacing windscreen Ti bolt. Pictures...

    One thing missing...

Are there one or more aftermarket items missing from the 1299 that we could all benefit from...assuming they were produced? There are plenty of aftermarket items that wil roll out soon enough, but anything that anyone can think of that isn't available and probably wasn't available for the 1199...

Brakes on this thing are crazy - tank grips?

They feel like twice the power of my 899 brakes. Does anyone use tank grips to help them stay locked in the tank under braking and if so which ones? Or are these just for hanging off in a track environment. One concern (because I'm a tart) is ruining the appearance of the tank as I have...

Normally, I wouldn't condone this kind of thing, but..!!!

This is quite the video... Normally, I'm pretty much against this kind of behaviour on public roads (even though I am guilty of having done it myself).. But this guy knows how to ride his motorcycle. One mistake on this road and he's done though.. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_6djOjZIfX8

What's the dumbest thing anyone has said about your bike/gear?

I recall getting gas on one of my motorcycle trips, and as I'm fueling up in my full leathers, I heard the cager next to me comment about how ridiculous my gear looks and I must be stupid for wearing it in 100+ degree weather. I wanted to respond "well please stop trying to kill me on the...

    This thing is STUPID fast

Ive been doing a lot of street racing against multiple bikes. I have raced: Bored and stretched GSX-R 1000's with full pipes (Beat em off the line and caught them going into 5th if I let them jump off the line first doing a 3rd gear roll on), raced a bored out 1440cc Hayabusa with full exhaust...

    This thing is a WEAPON.

Took my Tri on track for the first time yesterday. Unbelievable. It makes the handling of my 600 feel heavy. TC is butter smooth exiting corners. Saw 158 down the front straight, and thats with TC level 5 keeping the nose down. Incredible.
