Hi guys, just thought I'd start a thread and share 2 short videos from Eastern Creek in Sydney. I'm running 1.44s so not that quick yet, but it sure is fun!!!
Suggestions welcome on lines / braking technique / testicular fortitude etc welcome. Camera mounting ideas also well received :)...
If you're in the UK, 365,- GBP doesn't seem too much for a day of track riding on a V4 hirebike. I am thinking about who could sponsor this for me as a present this year. Maybe wife for wedding anniversary? :-)
California Superbike School UK: Hire Bikes
Hi all, this is something that's recently come to my attention. Normally when I do trackways, I ensure the PSI is to my liking before the first session when the tires are cold. And then for the rest of the day, I don't touch it. However, usually by the end of the day, my feel on the tires gets...
Well I have mad the decision that unless it's raining I will be having my first track outing on the Pani at snetterton. I don't know what to expect, probably a more tiring time and more fear. I hit 152mph with a triple tow on the 675. God knows what I will get with the Pani at the end of the...
Currently this bike is for sale in Sweden, seller wants a whopping 59000$ !!

This is my dream project I've been working for the last 5 years, I call it Ducati 1199 SPS "SOGNO NERO" (Black Dream)
This building is "one of a kind", my answer to how the...
Late start to the season for me with a new kid at home. First time of the year at a new track (Pacific Raceways).
Scenic, undulating and twisty, tons of elevation and bumpy! It's physical and it really exposed where I need to improve both in bike setup and riding technique before gridding up...
With almost 2k miles on the Pani, it was finally time to bring her out to the track where she belongs! Coming from an 06 gixxer thou, which I have done hundreds of laps at my local track, most recently at a mid A group pace, I must say I came in from my first session just a tiny bit dejected. It...
I am looking for a high-quality, closed, track-day trailer to transport two-to-three bikes.
Ideally, something that is 12' (preferred) to 16' (max), made of aluminum to keep it light, perhaps 6' tall and with two axles to keep the tongue-load low.
Can anybody recommend a good manufacturer?
Took a last minute decision to celebrate my 40th birthday by taking the R out to Donnington Park for the day!

I think I was pretty lucky with having easy setup of my 1199S as the R looks like it's going to be more difficult. I knew where I should have been on...
Hey guys, just had my first track weekend on the new bike and man what a difference from the 848evo. Didn't carry speed through the corners like the EVO but it more than made up for it on corner exit and down the straight! Chuckwalla is better for a middle weight bike so adjusting to a bike...
Got to ride the legendary Laguna Seca this past Sunday. It was my first time on the track with the 1299 and I couldn't have had a better time out there. The flow of the track with all of its elevation changes made it the most fun I've ever had at a trackday.
All of my GoPro vid files were...
Again on the track this week. It was raining in the morning but 18° C and dry in the afternoon. What I've changed for this trackday: DP race windshield (much better at topspeed!), profiled race tyres Supercorsa SC2 (r)/SC1 (f).
Pic made by pixelrace.
And I've flashed the ECU with...
I posted a more general version of this on the main Forum, but wanted to get a more technical thread going in here.
So, first trackday in 2 years since the birth of my daughter and first trackday ever on the 1299....
There were a LOT of the really fast AFM guys out practising and MAN are they...
Here's a nice vid of me riding at the Ducati Trackday at Donnington Park, UK last week.
