Aprilia are offering this bike with 3 different tyre size options... 2014 EICMA: 2015 Aprilia Tuono V4 1100 Preview Why would they do this??? I know its affects gearing ,slightly, but to my knowledge I do not remember a manufacturer ever doing this before???

I have a dilemma, would love to hear your opinions. I was set on the KTM 1290 SDR....I've gave myself the rest of the weekend to decide... Test rode the KTM 1290SDR - loved it but not really had the chance to full open them up with both stealerships in the city? See link attached photo...
