RB FEATURES TAB OR SCREEN

This setting is another one not to change unless you are a tuner and wants to add a deeper resolution to the mapping screen, but anytime you do that , your base mapping should be checked on a dyno. This is a tuner section again end user shouldn't have to worry about these portion of the settings. You can also add a map switch and can work in 2 ways, 1- to manually turn off Auto adaptivity, 2- or see below

this future allows you to create 2 sets of maps , including ignition maps but when switched on you will loose your maps, so to prevent that you can save your current map and copy paste on the new set of let's say map 1 and map 2, including ign maps then you can use the 2nd set of maps for tracks or fuel, this is especially useful with my tuning modules and again probably a racing use only.....

Setting below is for adding , increasing the rev limiter which you can on 899 or adding more RPM's at the top or bottom

PIT LANE LIMITER

This is for just like what it sounds like, we do sell the switch but this future's settings are going to depend on the riders preference you can set your RPM and sensitivity (how hard it cuts when activated) unfortunately for the 899 or 1199 , this future is not gear dependent like almost every other models where it allows you to set each gear in different RPM and sensitivity.

I should also mention, we can not create a gear dependent mapping for the Panigale because of the gear position sensor, again on every other make and model it is possible to make a map for each gear and let auto adaptivity correct each gear's fueling needs.

Quick Shift:
Most of you won't care for it but here is the info, the RB harness has the connector for the QS sensor, no need to buy any other modules to make it work, all you need is the sensor itself which comes with the proper rods (please note: Shift rods may have to be trimmed )
The gauge is a strain gauge, no moving parts inside, can be programmed to work reverse or normal shift pattern (not both) and the small control box is part of the harness, you can change the preload amount as well as push or pull future. Preload setting is, how much pressure you have to apply to the shifter before it activates, default is 15 but we found 11-12 works better on most bikes. Besides those adjustments which requires no PC or laptop, there are other settings you can adjust via computer, I don't wanna go in to details but there is a setting where you can adjust sensitivity in same gear for 3 different RPM zones.

STATUS SCREEN
This screen provides some vital sensor info for the tuner. However this is in the Paid version of the software I think and available to dealers only. There has been some concerns in the past about the RB module's location where it might get hot, RB module is well protected and if the heat is going to be an issue , there is going to be other wiring that is going to be effected much before the module itself, the status screen also keeps a track of the temp of the module and the max temp ever recorded so if the location is in question it can easily be tracked to monitor if it ever gets hot.

I just received an e-mail from one of our customers, asking where he can download the software for his apple computer? Well, this should have been one of the 1st warnings I should have paid attention , because the RapidBike Master software does not support anything other than Windows operating system. But I will find out if Dimsport will make any attempts to make a Mac friendly software.

Yaman, I plan on running mine on my Mac using VMWare. I will let you know how it works. I'll be installing next week. I did this when I tuned my Subaru. Everyone who used ECUFlash said it couldn't be done. It worked fine using VMWare!!.
