Bruce - I am curious did the bodywork come with the wings?
No just the plastics, but has provision for the wing's. The STD Ducati wing's are crazy expensive and so are a lot of the aftermarket one's but I think they will eventually come down in price.

see if your insurance covers track days. i have foremost and they do.
I can't find any insurers in Australia that cover track days. Many will cover the entry level rider training at the track, but no higher.

Im all ears if anyone can prove me wrong though!

I'm on the fence about buying track fairings. By the time you get a tank cover and get them painted, they are 70% the cost of Ducati OEM fairings.

I like the new V4R style fairings, if I did drop the bike on track with the fairings that came with the bike, I would just replace them with the new style and pay the 30% extra.

They don't seem to have track fairings with wings and gills for the V4/V4S yet.

Track fairings are nowhere close to the price of OEM.
Prep and pain them yourself for almost nothing if you desire paint on them.
Track Fairings are $600-$900.
Throw in tank cover for another $150
OEM fairings are $3,500.
OEM Tank is ??? $2,000
Tank covers only go so far, I buckled my tank in with my elbow when i went down.
Save yourself $2500+ to replace your tank if you know it in during a crash. You don't want to be $5,000+ on just aesthetics. Other things break when you go down besides plastics.
Again, race plastics are repairable, your OEM stuff, not so much.
