Wideband sensors / termi exhaust location

I'm installing 2 WB sensors from innovate to work with the Tuneboy flash I have. The bike has a full Termi system with the original 12mm narrowband sensor ports. I'm not keen on using the angle adaptors that I've seen in another post and would rather have the tip well into the exhaust stream. To do this my thought is to use the original location on the rear cylinder by grinding off the 12mm port and then welding on the 18mm. The front looks like it needs to be relocated slightly rearward and then mounted vertically behind the abs unit. Has anyone else done the install that can confirm this before I start?

Which Termi full system do you have? The Termi Relevance with the carbon exhaust cans or the other one that have the titanium exhaust cans? I'm assuming since you're going to be doing the grinding and welding you are familiar with welding titanium? That is a great question regarding the front 02 sensor. I never thought about. Hopefully someone can give you a solid answer. But why do you think you need to move it slightly rearward and vertically behind the abs unit? Is it because you dont think the wideband 02 sensor will fit? Meaning since its bigger it would cause a clearance issue?

I have the race with the titanium mufflers. I'm pretty sure the pipes are stainless though (anyone know otherwise?)

The narrow bands are quite short and it looks like a wideband will hit the block.

I thought the race come with titanium exhaust pipes. If I were you I would double check and make sure. The reason I say this , is because welding titanium is different from welding stainless steel. But I am almost positive that the headers you have are titanium. Maybe I am mistaken. But check just to make sure.

DEFINITLY stainless. I had a new port installed vertically for the front cylinder, then had the original port on the rear replaced with the 18mm. When the rear comes off, the port can be placed about 10mm off the other side to provide some clearance. I bought the 3ft cable version and had 3 attempts to get the cables and boxes mounted. In the end, the boxes are ender the seat, 1 either side of the subframe and all the cable is under the seat. If anyone wants I can take some pics. Already I can see that the rear cylinder is at 11:1 at idle.

This is the install I did:

The horizontal cylinder innovate box is on the right side of the bike due to the power back to the OEM O2 plug location. If I went the other side then the large Bosch plug won't get enough reach.

The vertical cylinder box is on the left. Both boxes are hard up against the side of the subframe to clear the tank.

The O2 sensors themselves are simple with the horizontal moved back and at the 12 o'clock position. The rear is the original Termi position but replaced with an 18mm port.
