Replaced the crappy electromechanical damper on my 1299S with this manual damper. Very little mileage. This is the latest gen with the updated adjustment knob.

Going back to the OE electromechanical damper.

Podium Racing. It's black DLC coated titanium. You can find a lot of their hardware on ebay.

Yeah my ESD on 1299S is ready for replacement. Probably was ready as soon as they torques the bolt on it at the factory

Indeed. I had to go back to the stock electronic unit until this one came in. No more glare from the sun reflecting off the silver one so I couldn't read my dash.
