love what you’ve done with the bike but personally I’m looking for something with a little less mileage. It’s a stunner though, thank you for your interest.

Thank you! If you change your mind, she’s a beauty and is probably the most practical/versatile bike out there, IMO. Hit me up.

Maybe it's apples and oranges, but I finally picked up my first V4 after shopping around for almost 2 years. 2024 Streetfighter V4S with 1,400 miles and $5K in aftermarket parts for $23.5K. I think I got a great deal. There's first gen V4Rs that have been sitting unsold for over a year at $28K. I was actually just offered a first gen V4R for $20K, with about 5K miles and a large number of track days. I'm still waiting for the 2018/2019 base models to bottom out around $14K. I think the estimate of $26K for the OP is right on the money if he wants it to move.
Where are these bikes at?

I picked up the Streetfighter off my local CraigsList. The offer on the first gen V4R was from my local Ducati dealership, Munroe Motors. I'm known to them and they knew I was looking. Lots of deals on Cycletrader.com and Facebook Marketplace. You can use SearchTempest to do a nationwide search of CraigsList ads. It's a bit tedious, but there are bikes to be found on there that aren't listed elsewhere. I always feel that you run a bit more risk with these listings as the bikes may have suffered a bit more neglect than your average forum poster who obsesses over the viscosity of their oil after 1,000 miles. Not poking fun, I read this type stuff with great interest too LoL!

PM me and I'm happy to talk you through my processes. I'm still looking for an out of state salvage/cheap base model first gen as a project bike. I'm raising 3 kids in San Francisco, so I have a bit more of a budget than a lot of other on this site.

Best of luck!
